Human Resources Revenues
ATLANTA, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Ross Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROSS), a leading provider of business software solutions, announced today that revenues from its Renaissance CS(R) Financial and Human Resources Systems increased by 34 percent for its fiscal year 1998 over the previous year. This represented the largest amount in the company's history. In addition, the company indicated that its legacy product, Renaissance Classic had revenues of over $14 million. Revenues from the combination of the client/server and classic products rank Ross Systems among the leaders in financial and human resources system sales. "Though we are known for our mission critical manufacturing and supply chain management systems, the functional strength of our financial and human resources applications plays a major role in winning business for Ross Systems," said Dennis Vohs, Ross' Chairman and CEO. Two hundred three new customers licensed the Renaissance CS Financial and Human Resources Systems during the past year. Selections were made in competitive evaluations against Peoplesoft, SAP, Oracle, Lawson and others.
