Re: Online Gambling

Who in their right mind would gamble their money on a web site based in another country? What is to guarantee you collect your winnings? If this is done by credit card, what keeps the foreign based establishment from sucking your card dry with unauthorized drafts? What is to guarantee GLOW will receive their cut?

What legal recourse would you have in these instances? You can challenge an unauthorized charge via the credit issuer, but it is your word against the foreign establishment's word. They can prove you registered and have been actively wagering. If the gambling is illegal, you better not challenge at all! No? Seems rather risky to me, but maybe I don't get the full picture.

Just curious.
