NetWare 5,
scheduled to ship in the summer of 1998, is still on target
with the release of Beta 3. Over 122,000 copies of Beta 2
went out to Novell Customers and Partners and it received
great reviews by both Press and Analysts. These reviews
can be seen off the NetWare 5 home page at
www.novell.com/netware5.

NetWare 5 Beta 3 is expected to ship over 200,000 copies
world-wide. It's not surprising the huge world-wide demand
considering many of the added features like Pure IP,
ConsoleOne, Catalog Services, the world's fastest Java
Virtual Machine (JVM), a free five-user license Oracle8,
the Netscape FastTrack Server for NetWare, a new Java
GUI install, and the list goes on and on....

We have had NW 5.0 up for about 3 days. It's on a Pentium 100 with 64MB, and a 2 GB drive. The GUI interface is sloooowww, but it's GUI. I expect they will have that cleaned up before the final release.

How about someone developing some cool wallpaper and background for the main console screen.

We will be doing lots of file work on it over the next couple of weeks along with printing, internet stuff, etc.
