Tip, I think it is where they got the phrase "no margin for error."

I have used margin in the past, but only in extreme situations. Such as at the bottom in 1975, I bought straight stock with my cash and then I did a similar amount of buy and writes with the margin. It worked well then, but, in general, it is not something you want to use except at major bottoms, and probably not then unless you have a really secure job.
