The point of my post was a MASSIVE increase in uncertainty and a pretty awful market for technology and for that matter enterprise software in general makes for a pretty compelling driver for the stock decline. Both Chuck Phillips and Sherlund/Chang should be able to publish within 5 days after the deal closes, i don't know the precise rules, but it's not later than that. BTW, other analysts that follow one of the companies are "studying up" on the other, so we'll see estimates and new reports coming out, moreover, by mid-september we'll have a pretty good idea how the quarter is shaping up. I understand why you are waiting, that's exactly the reason I'm doing the work now, by figuring out in advance as much as possible, it should position me well for the right kind of investment decision.
