Yahoo Rumor Mill getting active. Something to amuse us while we are waiting. Here are 2 of the latest: >>I am sure I will be chewed out for posting this, but what the heck. Things started moving quickly a week and a half ago when one of Tx's main players got back in town. RNTK and Tx have had major discussions since that time and it looks like Tx would like to move quickly as well (so they say). A target date has been set (not a deadline) and RNTK is waiting for a "verbal" agreement. They hope to get that within a week to 10 days. HOWEVER, once the verbal is given, Tx must send it through their heirarchy of people to sign off and this process can take as little as 2 weeks, but as much as 5 weeks. The actual press release is being put together now so it will not delay the announcement further. Tx will probably sign off on it when the deal is signed. Look for announcement to come within a few hours of the market opening (when it is announced). Whether trading will be halted or not will be up to NASDAQ. Let's all just sit back and wait. Now you all have the information you are looking for...thanks to me putting my ass out on a limb. NO MORE SPECULATION PLEASE-POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE! << >>I spoke with a person that has a good line of communications with RNTK and he told me the hold up was becuase of testing. Texico got burned on a prvious deal. He then informed me that the testing was complete and the deal was to be signed next week. I sure hope he is right. <<
