Oh Cmon....

You journey over to the other side of the fence and claim that we all
help each other out then you come back here and slam the CPQ thread.

I love DELL myself, I am a CIO and buy them myself....but Dell does one thing well. CPQ realized this and has expanded beyond there strength to broaden there services. No one can argue the global dominance of CPQ at this point even if they lose percentage points in unit sales, they realize that this is not their entire future.

Dell will do well for, who knows how long, probably for some time to come. But they will have to do more than one thing well to stay global. This is not software.

But please do not go saying that use CPQers are immature and that the DELL'ers are heady and more informed. Simply not true.

And yes, I am a trial member and should be shot because I have the gaul to post here.

heh.

Good luck to all.

Jeff.

Tsyl,
Maybe you should spend more than one day reading the CPQ thread to determine which thread is more 'civil' - you might be surprised. The discussion on the CPQ thread is quite a bit more civil than on this thread, go back a couple days and check it out for yourself.

Can you blame them?

tsyl:
In all fairness we do that here too,at least some of us more than others so I can not personally blame them for doing that without being a hypocrite though I am not a fan of CPQ and don't care much for the CEO and the CFO however I did like the guys (ex TI engineers)who started the company way back when I guess they are all gone now.

Lots of "Wow, were at $36. I cant believe it. We actually move $2 in one day. Golly!!"

Hey Tinsyl,

RE: "We actually move $2 in one day. Golly"

Pray tell, what percent is that old boy?

I would like to see my dell August 90 call(deep ITM) options jump +6$ (dell stock would be up about 6.5 at a 6% up move) in one session. Percentages rule.
