There is some rumor that WCD might be interested in JTS - although
I dont think there is much to that. But some people may
have bought into jts based on that. Even if WDC did buy - it probably
wouldnt mean much at all to the small shareholders.

I have written this off completely - it will either go belly
up by year end or I will have to waste 20 bucks to sell it and
take the loss.

In the latest issue of Tiger Direct they still have a big half-page JTS advertisement. The only drive they are offering is the 4.3 Gig at $149 though. Seagate also has a very similar drive at the same exact price. So they aren't even undercutting the name brands anymore (pricewise).
