There are over 37,000 posts in this thread, and I've read the last hundred or so. Most of the stuff posted is neither here nor there. So, let me ask a few questions:

1. If demand is so strong, why are the Koreans shutting down production for days and weeks? Why were Intel and HP forced to shut down production? Why were HP execs asked to take a 5% pay cut?

2. MU is expected to lose $0.20 next year. Let's assume it earns $1.00 in 2000. Does it deserve a 35 PE now for earnings two years out? (Actually, I can answer this one, and the answer is "No". Given the cyclical nature of its industry, MU deserves a PE in the single digits, just like the disk drive stocks.)

I think MU is a pile up waiting to happen. Anyone remember the fourth quarter of 1995? Actually, the down trend formed by connecting 1995's high and 1997's high is still intact. Let's see if it gets broken.
