Re: And, yes, GM a year ago those sorts of numbers were bandied around, but they were significantly lower (like $5.00/EPS) and that was before a 2-for-1 stock split. You have a very selective memory. There was much discussion of AMAT earning $10.00-12.00 during this next runup last year on this thread(pre-split). Cary Salsberg also had AMAT pegged at $12-15 on the optimistic side, pre-split, so is $7.00 really more dreamily optimistic? Whatever the he** that means.
