Just a point on VLSI. I value the process technology that VLSI has as moderate. They are at .25 and so is a lot of other companies. The real hidden value in VLSI is the IP. We are on the verge of a new way of conducting bussiness in the semiconductor world and that is system on a chip, here VLSI has a slight lead, some of the cores they have, take years to develop. Yes other companies can do them, but its takes time and money. This is the barrier to entry to the more complicated products such as ARM cores, MPEG cores, here is the real value of VLSI.
