doing the math,

if they produce 65M pounds zinc in '99, and save 10 cents/lb, from these measures, they will net an extra $6.5 million in '99! (about 10 cents/share). Also, it doesn't say, but I would expect them to amortize the $2.6M cost over the life expectancy of the mine. Therefore the cost savings would go almost directly to the bottom line.

Bonus: the above amounts are in US$, not our monopoly money :-)

Mark I too am doing the math and it shows that Breakwater hit a new low of $1.30 along with 300 other stocks. The LME inventories were down again today . I have been closely watching this discussion for months now and why does no one respond when it goes down?? Only when it goes up. Jack predicted a new low weeks ago. I too am in for the long run and predict good things to come. Jack are you out there? give us some of your wisdom. I would like to say more but my broker is calling. Unfortunately it is a MARGIN CALL. Lets hope Wednesday is better. Ah what the heck I'm buying more BWR tomarrow. WHAT'S THE WORST THAT CAN HAPPEN. IT CAN ONLY GO UP(lets hope)!!!
