skeeter- thats what is so funny. i remember back in summer 1996 when i went long that others were doing closings. i can even remember myself saying that that would prop up the market. what propped up MU then was a better than expected transition to 16Mb parts, not a firmer pricing environment for DRAM because of closings. now we have even more plants, and even if they are closed now i would be willing to bet that they could be open and spitting out chips within one month. good luck to all, trey
