DELLs ARE SHOWING UP EVERYWHERE!!!!

I just visited a web hosting and development firm that does some work for us. They have about 75 employees and have a number of older Compaq computers. All of the computers they purchased in the last 6 months have been DELLs (including 25 of them for their new training center). They love the computers -- higher performance at a lower price. This is the sign of things to come.

Our company (a $1B diversified media firm) is considering purchasing direct from DELL rather than from IBM. My father's law firm (with over 250 lawyers) switched from IBMs to DELLs in the last year. My hotel in Seattle last week said they were having great luck with their new DELLs. I visited a leading management consulting firm in Boston a few weeks ago and they said they almost exclusively use DELL computers worldwide. IMO, This is the sign of things to come.

Wait until DELL develops superlight laptops, handheld devices, and new types of home information appliances. The potential is incredible. And the DELL brand name is only getting stronger.

Time to buy some more DELL before we take-off again later this month!!!

Yesterday's DELL rise was choppy and tentative, but nonetheless the trend was steadfastly upward. Lots of positives coming out today - CPQ on priority list, chips trading up well, strong cash position building in money markets (per Maria B.) & we'll see about the employment report in about 5 min. Don't expect much from that because of the confusion caused by GM strike. I expect a good day for techs & especially Dell, whereas the overall market might still be a little cloudy.
