One thing I need to get better at is the psychology of the markets. How does this sound for today. I appreciate all input.

The bulls have been trying to keep this market alive. There are theories put forth that GS is doing whatever it can to keep this market alive for their IPO. I suggest that today, being Friday, and in the current market shape, no one will want to remain long over the week-end. If that is so, then how do the bulls keep today afloat....

Run it early in the morning to indicate that this run is for real. Back off and see what happens through the mid-day and be ready to buy like crazy near the close to take in all those that don't want to be long over the week-end. So up 50 or so early on, then flat most of the rest of the day. I think the employment numbers are out today or something and that generally means a volatile day. Maybe today won't be so volatile, if my read is correct.

It will be interesting to see who wins today.....

A classic struggle.
