MRVC:

If you don't know how to design frames, don't use them!!!

On a positive note, MRVC ran a two page ad (p2-p3) on inside cover of InternetWeek for 8/3. Showed pictures of GE backplane, GE switches, and 10/100 switches in network configuration on p3 with claim increased to 150 miles! Very good ad and excellent ($$) placement in mag.

What website are you talking about?

nbase.com works fine for me--
mrv.com has a black splash page, but links to the same old MRV page as before. Of couse, I'm flying a Mac.

xyplex is getting pretty tired and cluttered...

In all, the major criticism is the damn graphics are stupidly slow to load. I sort of expect that's what you get from a gigabit ethernet company! I also agree the animated gifs are overdone, but that can be fixed easy enough.

All in all, it looks like the pages were hand-tagged. I use Adobe Sitemill 3.0, and it would make short work of fixing all these errors- it's a wysiwyg creation tool with site management tools (all links are checked and maintained by the program, and HTML and lost links are automatically detected, too.)

This stuff is so easy to do, if you use modern tools. Of course, having a programming background helps in making the pages load fast.

Ooops- you guys don't care. Well, Screw Ya! I'm glad to see an up day.
