Henry,

As one might guess from the wording of my questions, I, too, am opposed to the death penalty. There are reasonably persuasive arguments for the death penalty, but they just don't ring my bell, so to speak. But then... I'm sure my reasonably persuasive arguments for eating meat wouldn't ring a Buddhist's bell... and are abhorred by vegans. :-)
