've got a small position in NOVL right now and am pretty sure we at least go to
$13.50 by NW 5.0 shipdate. Hoping to see some robust earnings for once. .40 in 1999
doesn't seem like enough to get us to $20.

Hi Marc,

I understand that street earnings estimates for '99 could be a few cents more, also note that these estimates were around before the buy back program so they should be adjusted by 10%..so we could take as a working number for '99 earnings .50. Now if we value NOVL with a PE of 35 (roughly 1/2 the PE of MSFT) -which is lower than current average PE for the industry (~50?) and taking into account NOVLs strong cash situation we should be ball park @20. We just need this thing to ship..Meantime the fire sale continues. We really should be at least at the levels we were before the market's correction (i.e. at 13+) and maybe we will soon..

Regards

Victor
