MW - you said this on the YHOO thread. Please respond...

<<<I speak regularly to mgmt and business partners[GIC]. If you are interested in a serious conversation about this co. I would be happy to oblige.>>>

I would love to have an intelligent discussion about SRCM, but you don't ever seem to want to answer any questions.

Here's two.

1. How does SRCM expect to compete when the GIC series 5000 is out?

2. Do you admit - because the series 5000 has a cable modem in it, SRCM's patents are worthless once it comes out? And in worthless, that would also mean no one would have any reason to buy SRCM because the 5000 box (or similar SA box) will be the only box of choice?

MW, you said this on YHOO...

<<<GTE already settled. Why would a co. with that much money and resources take that approach when they could have delayed and outspent SRCM in court? Thay could have squashed them.... >>>

They settled, because the cost of litigation did not justify the amount of revenue the mainstreet profit center had potential of generating. As you know, mainstreet failed, GTE made a good choice.

GTE is not stupid and neither is AOL, MSFT ETC. SRCM's technology offers poor very functionality and is only beta. The 5000 Series Box offers full functionality and cable modem speed access. No one will spend money today for what will be worthless in 12 months or less when the 5000 series rolls out.

Cable operators will have to choose between SRCM technology - in which case they will choose the best company in that field - WorldGate because they have a product that is not beta - or full functionality internet access, cable access speed, and support of MSFT, ORCL, INTC all major broadcasters etc. IMO they choose neither and wait for the 5000. But there is NO reasoning for them to choose SRCM over WorldGate when the product life span will be so short and WorldGate's product is already developed.

Are you suggesting they would choose SRCM, a company that is broke, with a beta product and about to get nailed with a huge FRAUD investigation over these other industry giants?

Please MW tell us why they would do that?

<oops> Did I say that?

Please respond MW. I would like to discuss this with you.

Cheers Steve
