<BTW, Apple opening down almost a point on low volume after yesterday seemed weird and suspicious.>

Your suspicion is warranted. I knew how to get just the right butterfly to flap its wings in a small garden hidden near Istanbul to set the inexorable chain of events that lead to my getting back into my AAPL options relatively unscathed! Moahahahahah! :-) I can control the weather too, but that's another story.

Sam,

The iMac event is too big to be ignored so the stock will gradually
reflect its real value. When the time (August 15th) is getting
closer, the stock gets hotter. Now, I have little doubt that Apple will
jump over yearly high as early as tomorrow. It seems the upturn
stream continues as the overall market behaves fair well.

I have observed this stock's behavior these couple days and found out
there exists a strong push-up force on "ask" side to lift the price
up, which is a very special scenario. Does anybody know something
very positive? I am still skeptical about this phenomenon.

At least from 3-months technical chart, we can see clearly that it
will test the yearly high soon if unfortunately not tomorrow.

Hmmm..., if CPQ and GTW could move that high today, Apple will be the
next turn and it'll probably be tomorrow.

Cheers,

Phil
