The only thing that makes sense to me is that the 198K+ block yesterday induced still more waves of selling for whatever reasons. It kind of fed on itself, so to speak. It sure is a confidence shaker? Right? Well, within 7 trading days the issue will be resolved when the quarterly results are announced. Meanwhile, it gives you an uneasy feeling and suddenly a questioning state of mind - makes one less boyant about a turnaround doesn't it? Between now and that event, if there is a return to drift on diminishing volume then I would conclude that this down thrust initiated by the index fund selling was an aberration.
