Hitachi is now in volume production of PC-100 compliant 64Mbit SDRAM devices, and has demonstrated and sampled PC-100 compliant 256Mbit SDRAMs:

* The 16Mx4, 8Mx8, and 4Mx16 SDRAMs support /CAS Latency 2 (CL2) and CL3 for increased system performance flexibility. They have a 6ns tac (access time from clock) and operate at clock frequencies up to 125MHz.
* The 256Mbit, 125-MHz chips go into production later this year, built with a proven 0.2-æm process for high-volume availability. Packaged in compact 54-pin, 400-mil TSOPs, an industry first, they are drop-in replacements for popular 64Mbit components.

* 64Mbit SDRAMs: HM5264405TT/HM5264805TT/HM5264165TT Series

* 256Mbit SDRAMs: HM5225405ATT/HM5225805ATT/HM5225165ATT Series
