Steve, I could not agree with you on "The performance doesn't sell the chip". As the matter of fact, people does pay premium for better-performance chips for whatever the reasons in great enthusiasm. It is a wonderful business! What really kill the sales of 6x86 and M2 is the stupid "PR Rating". The "PR Rating" makes M1/M2 just another ME-TOO chip. In the mean time, end users has the fears that they might be deceived by Cyrix on the "PR Rating".
