Joan, Wow, these guys' economics are as bad as their politics. And what the heck is wrong with bell bottom pants and love beads. Where they screw up, like many conservatives, is in their idolization of Ronnie Babe Reagan. He tripled the national debt. They act like he got rid of it. <G> The current surplus is 100% explained by ripping off the Social Security Trust Fund and it will come back to bite us as my age group starts to retire. And totally nutso stuff about the dollar. If the dollar declines, commodities rise, by definition, as the dollar is the currency of record. Oh, well, these new pair of dime guys can never tell a bubble when they see one. <G> MB
