It also depends on business at that time, though there's always back end loading, I think both companies were pretty conservative with their June results and tone of business appears to be pretty strong thus far in the quarter.

At least as far as Chuck goes, he's not as valuation sensitive as long as his view of the long term picture is positive. If Chuck likes the company's prospects he'll like it at $29 or at $45.

Another thing I like about chuck, he's no investment banking patsy. Three weeks after initiating coverage on JDAS, right after a MSCO lead secondary offering, he downgraded the stock (quite properly) to a NEUTRAL!!!

Chuck tends to like very big companies a lot and his bias is towards banking clients, but he's got so much credibility because he maintains impeccable standards of integrity and work ethic. I don't always agree with him, but he is an absolute star of sell side software research. Generally when I've disagreed with him (see vantive) it costs me money. So perhaps I'm overstating his influence, but he could have a major impact on the perception of the company once he re-initiates coverage.

Prior to the deal, he was turning more positive on arbor, but his major concern was adding an applications suite to the product line and attaining critical mass. This deal seems to address those concerns. Therefore, if the quarter and the integration are progressing well .....
