Filippo... good points. There is one change in the market which newcomers (ten years), haven't noticed. Its the extremem funneling of money through funds into a narrow group of stocks. The spreading out of investment into secondary agressive and value plays has been minimal. Historically we should have had more money going into smaller companies, we haven't because money managers want to be sure liquidity is there to sell in fast markets. Only the very large caps and popular techs have supplied that liquidity.

Cendant will turn at some point, though you're playing for a business to recover from infamy which sometimes takes forever... OXHP and SOC comes to mind.

I like Smithfield Foods, conservative play in stressful times.

The techs will climb into school, fall weather marketing, and end of year budgets being disposed of.

Never boring, keep posting. One point though, please separate your company choices into individual paragraphs... yea I know, sounds like.. but it makes it easier to understand.

This Monica thing is getting pretty seedy. Its not just dragging the President throught the mud, its dragging the whole country through. Help us if this is the standard for future national politics...
