One factor that you have to consider is that the financial "press", led by Fortune, Forbes, etc. and CNBC, is nothing more than a Media Circus.

The "Guru-of-the-minute" is their equivalent of a "rock-star" - somebody to be interviewed and worshiped, from whom wise opinions can be extracted.

Then, today's gurus, like today's rock-stars, can be discarded for tomorrow's newer versions - and the process will repeat itself.

Ultimately, these sources are trying to SELL you something - advertisements, stocks, newsletters, prayers, etc.
