Stephen - Re: "when will the Street stop calling these people gurus and start calling them what they are...high paid guessers!" One factor that you have to consider is that the financial "press", led by Fortune, Forbes, etc. and CNBC, is nothing more than a Media Circus. The "Guru-of-the-minute" is their equivalent of a "rock-star" - somebody to be interviewed and worshiped, from whom wise opinions can be extracted. Then, today's gurus, like today's rock-stars, can be discarded for tomorrow's newer versions - and the process will repeat itself. Ultimately, these sources are trying to SELL you something - advertisements, stocks, newsletters, prayers, etc. Paul
