SOST will be featured on NBC and Discovery Channel as follows: RMS Titanic, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SOST) announced today that in an unique partnership between a cable and broadcast network, Discovery Channel and "Dateline NBC" will collaborate on television coverage of its fifth expedition to the Titanic wreck site this August. Television coverage includes a special edition of "Dateline NBC" -- RAISING THE TITANIC -- on Wednesday, August 12 from 10-11 PM (ET/PT). Additional coverage on NBC will include segments on "NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw" and "Today." Discovery Channel's two-hour live special, TITANIC LIVE, airs on Sunday, August 16 from 8-10 PM (ET)/5-7 PM (PT). "Dateline NBC" correspondents Sara James and Bob McKeown will be reporting for the "Dateline NBC" special, RAISING THE TITANIC, and will contribute both live and taped reports for Discovery Channel's TITANIC LIVE. The correspondents will be on-board one of the four surface ocean vessels, joining the more than 90 scientists, historians and technicians involved in the expedition. In addition, an MSNBC studio will be customized for the TITANIC LIVE broadcast anchored by MSNBC's John Seiganthaler. "Dateline NBC's" program -- RAISING THE TITANIC -- will focus on the expedition's attempt to raise a 20-ton section of Titanic's hull, dubbed the "Big Piece, which the Company attempted to recover from the debris field surrounding the wreck during its 1996 expedition, and will provide viewers with never before seen video of the ocean liner. The program will also report on the failed 1996 attempt to raise the Big Piece, a profile of George Tulloch, president of RMS Titanic, Inc., and artifacts recovered on past expeditions. Discovery Channel's TITANIC LIVE will be seen live in more than 100 counties with simultaneous translation in Spanish, Mandarin, Thai and Japanese. The live broadcast will bring views closer to Titanic than ever before and feature the first ever images from deep within the ship's bow and stern. There will also be interviews with top-notch ocean specialists and historians researching how the ship sank and how Titanic is currently being lost to the forces of nature. RMS Titanic, Inc. will cover the expedition on its web site (www.titanic-online.com), with daily reports and photographs to be dispatched by its expedition team directly from the wreck site to the web site. Internet users throughout the world will be able to follow the activities and progress of the expedition each day. Dateline NBC, the signature broadcast for NBC News in primetime, is the most watched network newsmagazine. The multi-night franchise, broadcast four nights a week, is seen weekly by more than 60 million viewers. Discovery Channel is one of the United States' three largest cable television networks, serving 74 million households across the nation with the finest in informative entertainment. Formed in 1987, RMS Titanic, Inc. was granted salvor-in-possession rights to the wreck of the Titanic by a United States Federal Court order in 1994, reconfirmed again in 1996. The court award includes the exclusive rights to own all of the objects recovered from the Titanic wreck site and the exclusive rights to photograph Titanic. In a June 1998 court ruling prohibiting a proposed sightseer expedition to the Titanic, United States District Court Judge J. Calvitt Clarke, Jr. commended the Company for "maximizing the wreck's historical value and returning the wreck's artifacts to society for the general use and education of all mankind." During the years 1996, 1994, 1993 and 1987, research and recovery expeditions conducted by RMS Titanic, Inc. have recovered approximately 5,000 artifacts from the Titanic wreck site. Just imagine the President of SOST featured non-stop for several days continuously. And through their web site, all these millions of people will think to themselves... gee I can own SOST stock for $2 - $3 a share (or in their mind - a piece of the Titanic. I wish all sub $2 stocks had this much TV/Media coverage. -DavidCG
