Colin.....nice site.....I spent a little time over there this morning and came across this "evidence" which is in full agreement to what our press release said ......I contend that Danny is no hypster and he has carried through all that he has promised. 1. The FCC has mandated a phased-in simulcasting requirement which will continue until the analog channel is terminated and the analog spectrum returned. This phase-in is scheduled to begin upon "adoption" of the FCC 5th Report and Order (April 3, 1997). 2. The FCC has targeted the year 2006 as the cessation of analog service" and calls for the return of the NTSC analog spectrum. The 1996 Act requires that the Commission assess and collect a fee from licensees who offer ancillary or supplementary services on a subscription basis.
