another 800 point drop next week

You are such optimists.

Employment report is out, should be short-term positive for
the market; solid employment (= no recession), moderate increase
in earnings (= no inflation, no rate rise). Asia, Russia
are only soso; Nairobi bombing irrelevant.

Could be good for a solid early-morning rally (futures certainly
have improved markedly). I would not try to predict the afternoon
though.
