YHOO, XCIT, LCOS & SEEK & AltaVista .... all excellent sites & no one else comes close How is Geocities any different? It's not. Dear Urlman, Well, we are all entitled to our opinions. Hope you are able to by 'at the market' in the first half hour 'bubble' and make lots of money. Seriously, what I did was to check out mediametrix.com and selected 'press room' and ran a 'reach' comparison for geocities.com (Just for fun, go ahead and click on the GeoCities link right above, and please let me know what happens) tripod.com angelfire.com xoom.com theglobe.com Sure looks like 5 'me-toos'. Where's the difference? That's what I mean by 'no entry barriers'. Anyone can do it. Any portal/hub and why not Amazon.com for that matter? Best, Francis P.S. Scoop?
