More of the same only more of it!

US export market shrivels, imports balloon, domestic producers cringe, trade deficit probes new depths, protectionist sounds are heard, tax revenues fall, jobs lost, unemployment expenditures rise, and, eventually, the US$ undergoes a competitive devaluation.

Plus other stuff I don't like to think about...

Investor-Ex pretty much summed it up: Nothing good happens.

However, I think you posed the wrong question. At this point it is looking more like a question of WHEN they devalue, not IF.
