This is incorrect John. There are currently 2 chipsets supporting the Xeon server. The 440GX supports 2 way systems & the 450NX supports 4-way systems. The rest of your post is wrong as well, for that reason.

Petz, current Xeon (400 Mhz) will support 4-way processing. The second version that is delayed runs at 450Mhz and has more cache. Hopefully, 8-Way implementations is still on schedule for beginning of '99. BTW, XEON sales have exceeded expectations and is probably part of the reason INTC is moving up.
