Than Web portals are than just as "easy" to replicate! Sign me up for the next Yahoo company I wany in on the private placement before it goes public..... Why are there only a few dominant web portals?

Another barrier to antry is brand name recognition which Geocities has..... most others do not P.P.S. I hate the FLASHING BANNERS that are required by the other sites and are not by Geo... Geo uses the "Geobrander" which is like a station identification... and uses ad "pop ups" which are IMHO much more friendly
