Hutch - technicalities apart why does an increase in M2 ($$) hurt gold? Gold is valued in dollars, and if gold is more or less a constant don't more $$ inflate the value of gold in unit terms? E

What occurred in late AUG 98, with the XAU should occur again this month. A similar break below XAU=52 is VERY possible. And the Euro will be the reason. I choose the same three week time frame, which means before Feb 9 1999. During this time Gold should fall to $265.
