ColleenB, there you go again. First you don't want to make any parallels between EDII and MTEI (despite their common origins). These comments have been way off topic as far as you seem to be concerned.

Unless it suits your purposes. Then you freely draw upon the experience of the MTEI name change, which happened at a time when the stock was running up, upon nothing as it seems to have turned out, but unfounded optimism and you would say that this sleepy little stock came to life and had a resurgence because of this name change alone.

Well, I guess, you won't need to worry about anyone accusing you of being consistent in your tireless promotion of EDII.

A stock that the name change made A difference in the price is one she should be very familiar with, as she visits their thread, too. ICVI 6-10-98 .50 close. Change to MTEI 6-11-98. MTEI 6-12-98 .80 close.

The price swing was a result of the last hyped days of MTEI. Shorts only have to be covered when the CUSIP changes. If the symbol merely changes the CUSIP is still valid which is what is on a certificate. That is what the broker uses to verify the cert.

Sorry,

Cliff
