Let's see, Glenn...

Amazon is terribly over-valued, burning cash quickly, losing money at an increasing pace, competing in a business with almost no barrier to entry, lacking direction in making poor acquisitions....

It'll probably go up! <g>

Hi Glenn,

I know that you are kidding but I am doing the following..:))

I sold(opened) the 100 shares yesterday @111, setting a buy order @$106 for the day. Today is Friday, therefore.....

If the 106 buy is completed, I will place a sell order for $115 again for next Mon/Tue. I will be out of pocket for Mon & Tues.

I am comfortable leaving the 100 shares unboxed at $111 until Next Wed.

The TA looks like a technical rebound is taking place enforced by the run in high techs and general market rebound. This should create a great shorting/sell opportunity. It may have a run for a few days or peter out very quickly on the recent earnngs downgrades and analyst re-assessments of inet sector stocks. The norm for technical rallies is a run of 3-7 days before a pull-back - the duration often gets shorter once a bear trend is established. This stock is still propelled by a lot of rah, rah momo investors but their numbers have dwindled, IMO, and they won't be able to keep the momentum going as in the previous two rallies.

My guess (who really knows?) is that the stock will pull considerably off the intra-day high today. The momentum appears to be stalling already but that could be a brief pause. Short-term technical resistance starts to kick in around 118-122.

Set your sells at the 118-120 range and be prepared to take profits quickly. If the drop ocurs at the end of the day, that should be another confirmation of overall lack of commitment and that the downward trend will move further on the next leg down.
