Thanks for that link, Wally. It bears no repetition that it was the
limelight loving analyst Lady Garzarelli who, with much fanfare
and avid press support, instructed her legion adoring minions to
"sell everything" at the exact bottom of the 1996 bull market.

Now, quoth her Ladyship, "We have a rate of inflation at
less than 1% for the first time that I can ever remember
in my career. We have interest rates that are only 5 1/2%
and likely to go down another full percent from here. The
only thing that is kind of neutral is that we have flat ear-
nings growth this year that we're projecting in from 1999.
But, as interest rates come down, the stock market will
go up because it improves the valuation.... It (the recent
correction) also started when the number of bullish
advisers got up to 70%."

It would seem that there strong echoes of certain of Bob Brinker's
own positions here. Perhaps, her Ladyship is now a "Marketimer"
subscriber, a "MoneyTalk" devotee, or a nodding acquaintance of
the Commander
