Bus with BusPac System 2500M sbubka
Aug 7 1998
10:57AM EDT
I live near Washington D.C. and wanted to see a Turbodyne installed on ad running. I keep reading in these threads that none of Turbodynes products are installed on any vehicles. Well this is not true.

Ten minutes ago I just saw a Turbodyne BusPac 2500M installed on metrobus number 9010. This bus runs out of Alexandria, VA. I called up Metro and asked if I could see the bus and see the engine running. The mechanics were happy to show me the unit this morning.

The Turbodyne Unit is installed on a Detroit Diesel engine located on metrobus 9010. The mechanic opened the shroud covering the diesel engine and let me look around the engine. Sure enough a shiny metal BusPac was installed right above the engine. The metal plate attached to the unit reads:

Model 2500M BusPac System
Serial No. 0002

CARB E.O. NO. D-430
DDC Engine Families:
6V92TA, Mech. FP, Model Yr. 1980 - 1987
6L71TA, Mech, FP, Model Yr. 1988 - 1990

Turbodyne Systems
Carpinteria, California
USA 93013

The mechanic said it "dropped right in". He said he hasn't had any problems with the unit yet and it reduced the black smoke coming out of the exhaust.

The bus normally runs during the morning and evening rush hour. When I get a chance I am going to ride the bus and see for myself how the bus runs.

Anybody else in other cities that have seen a Turbodyne product installed please respond with your experiences.

WANTED: STOCK TO BORROW

If anyone has successfully borrowed stock in the last 48 hours from a BD w/ a box in TRBD, please Private Message me.

By the smell of it TRBD is caught up in the Ol' EASDAQ shuffle:

1. Buy XYZ stock

2. Request that transfer agent deliver XYZ certificates to personal address.

3. Drive to favorite bank and drop XYZ certificates in safety deposit box.

4. Hype stock.

5. Upon short squeeze, pick up XYZ certificates and deposit at favorite BD to be registered in street name.

6. Sell stock to long term shareholders at huge profits.

7. Repeat.
