All this doom and gloom makes for a depressing thread. What's the deal? "Titanic" sinking? THAT'S NUTS!!!

These aren't the old "Robern" days of uncertainty, and Fink's gone. Pessimists, go short. I see this as another GREAT buying opportunity.

So, choose your direction...but please keep the whining to a minimum.

Regards to all, BG

NBMO: WinStar's $23 million cash acquisition of Bowne's (BNE-$42-1/4 NR) LANsystems unit, a highly regarded data systems integrator, is valued at just 1x forward 12-month estimated revenues and accretive to EBITDA. We reiterate our BUY on WinStar shares on the back of today's announcement.

In summary,
+ Jump starts WinStar's consulting services effort.
+ Fills in a big piece WinStar's strategy to deliver cost-effective
broadband solutions.
+ Perfect overlap between LANsystems markets and WinStar's markets.
+ Large cross-selling opportunity to high telecom usage customer base.
