I see a + sign in front of the stock price of Ashton.

Anybody know what the + sign means??? :>)

I'm moving to Canada. Anti snowbird. It has been about 110 degrees since beginning of July. It's gross.

Here's part of an answer - we have discussed this in the past, and what I remember is that you go with .5 initially just to see if anything is there. Then with a mini-bulk, you're interested in finding more info about the resource, in particular if there's a good chance of it being mineable. Since the larger stones are what bring real value from the mine, you raise your criteria to see if there's enough value to proceed to a full bulk sample.

Hmmm, that may be too simple an answer for some, but again, we covered it in more detail a few months ago, so someone can go dig up the spefifics if they wish.

Just got back from my trip. Since some of you have expressed comments about how I communicate and what positions are taken with Ashton, we finally made a decision to buy Ashton stock for the investment group's company. The motion was accepted to spend $250,000 by the end of September. Buying as started today in small denominations. Any increase/decrease in this position would have to be put back on the table for discussion.

Since most of you feel that rumors should be posted, here is one. I encourage you to all treat it as a rumor and do your own DD'.

The rumor is getting stronger that Ashton and JV are leaning towards outsourcing K14 to an external Lab. RESULTS WILL THEN BE READY BY OCTOBER. If correct, this is REAL GOOD news for Ashton. It is ONLY TWO MONTHS away!! The market has already discounted no news ON k14 until early 1999. As I have said all along, it would make Ashton's life easier if results from K14 are ready prior to the 1999 so they can plan their 1999 budget. Based on this rumor, I am a happy camper. Hang in there, it is not over!
Happy Investing!
