peter: when I see what profitable businesses have been bashed below book value on the russell, I get the cold chills about the future of our economy. Small retailers. REITS for strip malls. Small insurers. Way below the price insiders paid. Nobody seems to be buying them this morning, they're just sitting there. Soo... I kinda think there's more downside for the big guys before we see lots of action on the small stuff. BWDIK?

Hi Peter, I am not the one to address that question to. I am generally going the wrong way at the wrong time. :-( But I am impressed with the broad rally yesterday and today. Looks to me as if the dipsters were right again. (I really don't think it was the dipsters but more the Plunge Protection Team that broke the bears back on this one). All the papers, etc. (that I read) was telling the dipsters to be careful buying the dips on this one so I guess that should have been the signal to buy with both hands. :-) But I kept mine in my pocket again. :-(( In short, I DON'T HAVE A CLUE !
