Too much time is spent wringing your hands over where the Yen will be a year from now. Buy the Big 4(INTC, MSFT, AMAT, CSCO) during time of weakness and close your eyes.

Brian,

your logic left me speechless. Since I am still learning, I think I better keep my eyes open until the day that I acquire your wisdom and technique of closed eyes investing.

Ramsey

ps Teri, this is totally your fault.

Brian - I have to side with Ramsey (the ultimate bear<g>) here. Morgan and most other CEO's largely ignore macro-economics when making forecasts. Instead they poll their customers, who in turn poll their customers, ... . While that is all fine and good, it does result in considerable delay between a consumer downtick and capital equipment suppliers knowing about its effects on them.
