i.e., your realtime may say ,, 5 x 15 ,, but level II , might say 5 x 35 ,,

500 to buy ,, 3500 to sell

500 to buy at 12 1/2 ,, 3,500 to sell at 12 3/4 ,, which means you don't have to bid 12 3/4 to buy ,, you will probably get it at 12 1/2 rather depending on the sell pressure and the MMs line up and the next support,, you could even buyh at 12 1/4 or even 12...
