Bodie,

I saw that article several weeks ago. However, that article refers to physical casinos on the island itself and their impact on the local economy and culture.

Virtual internet casinos are in fact legally allowed to be domiciled in The Commonwealth of Dominica, The Domini Corporation, which can be found at

domini-inc.com, is an "Appointed Agent" of the Government of the ommonwealth to assist in setting up such virtual casinos, and the Commonwealth budget includes income from their licensing fees.
