Hi Nigel,

the real problem with you guys is that you are all being too academic about this whole thing: To me it seems quite obvious that we can logically separate the IDTI business as follows

1. WinChip
2. Others (incl. the RISC biz)

now I do know that the MIPS RISC stuff is recently quite interesting indeed but let's face it, IDTI is hardly competitive with Nihon Ko Kan (Nippon Steel) and others like QED etc., but exactly for these reasons I can't really see that it makes a big difference. As for the rest (item 2.) IDTI compares real well to CY and it's set of problems including a management with a lousy track record. Thus we are left with the item 1. WinChip asset, right? Rather than playing the bright guy here I would like to see some good stuff here from you guys. As for a starter I believe, that IDTI has positioned itself extremely well here. Then, if anything, what is wrong, or are they indeed on the right track and just keep this a secret to us and The Street?
