I agree Condo. But I also think that people on this thread use each other. This thread and others are primarily there to discuss the different scenarios of a particular investment. Unfortunately, individuals use the SI to "pump and dump" that is the reality of the SI.

I think what really disturbs me is that the company people seemed to have all the right things to say just before every run. But, now that the stock has plunged into oblivion, the company remains quiet. I think we are in for the long haul. I think we will probably get burned unless something incredibly drastic happens. I don't like to be a skeptic, but this company doesn't have much leverage. Although insiders and promotors who made money on the last swing are doing okay, I think maybe they should pump some of that money back into the company. What a ridiculous idea.

Thanks and I do agree that it is counterproductive to attack others on the threads unless they do something unscrupulous. Being optimistic about plays you like is a role. Being pessimistic is a role. Attacking others by calling positive comments hype or negative comments plunges is useless although you see both on many threads. Usually the plunge stuff goes something like, "are you trying to drive the price down to buy more" or some such accusation. Remember the market will exploit whatever your psychological weakness is. It is a very tricky place and I think SI is helpful. In fact, I often point out how tricky it is with the quotes. All should remember what Richard Russell says, "You may not be able to overcome your weakness, but you better be aware of it - and you better do your investing accordingly, according to your own abilities." When I like a play I enjoy saying so and when I do not like I like to say that. My motivations are not usually to try to move the stock, although that has crossed my mind, but rather to enjoy the dialog and learn something. I have learned an enormous amount about this play because of SI. Part of the reason I sold was because of Harwood's insights. However, everyone lives with the consequences of their own choices. So if it rallies then those who hung in there will benefit. Everyone, with no exceptions, must make their own decisions. The "net" IQ however is probably higher than our individual ones and therefore useful.

Condo guy

I don't have ANY problem. I didn't lose money on this one. I've never owned it. I've watched you folks eat each other for many months from the plans for the big trip together to the hand holding now.
I have also studied most of you through your many posts on many threads.

I have nothing personal about CLK. I'm saying that his over exuberance in whatever he's in affects many of you and to his personal gain( by his own words). His pattern is repeated on other threads. This is significant to me.

From my experience on SI, I think it is more important to do DD on the posters more than on the companies.

By the way, let's compare fishing notes some day (West vs East - Trout vs Bass)
