Is Gruntal & Co a joke or what?

reduces Crystal Systems target price because of "investor sentiment toward companies with Year 2000 related opportunities has soured somewhat after some earnings disappointments from Crystal Systems' competitors"

well for every company that isn't performing, there is another company that is: TSK, CHRZ, KEA, CRYSF, COGIF, TSRI, DDIM, IMRS, SPNSF, TIER etc. It is the company's that are performing well that investors should be putting their money. Isn't this why we like this company after all? I am starting to agree with someone on the Yahoo thread: "stay away from companies that Gruntal is associated with" If anything I think the target price should have been raised (though 38 is high), but to be lowered $15 is like a downgrade. However, I believe this was why we did see a big price drop in the past quarters. (investor sentiment, but CRYSF has proved the investment community wrong!)

I think I will be e-mailing Gruntal & Co; hasn't this stock seen enough pressure? And where oh where is Goldman Sachs on this one?

CRYSF is doing very good for a small company. It is capitalizing on the computer 2000 problem while it can and in the meantime is generating a good cash flow while developing business relationships with new clients. The best news is that CRYSF will have the Euro-curruncy conversion to fall back on after the year 2000. Most of these conversions will be taking place over the next 2-3 years, so the future looks very bright for CRYSF in my opinion. It still has to prove that it will be able to enter this market; right now I think European sales were only about 5% of total revenue.

Shame on Gruntal & Co.
