EDII has previously announced a formal change of its corporate name to American International Industries Inc. Effective July 31, 1998, EDII stock certificates will be replaced by new certificates at the appropriate time.


Yo braindead. Is the CUSIP changing or not? New certificates can be issued all they want. As a matter of fact new certificates are issued to cert holders when a split occurs, or stock dividend. Do you think shorts have to be covered when stock splits or dividends in the form of stock are issued? NO
