Mike -

I bet you hide in bushes and yell "boo" at children, too. :)

Mike,

<<Point being, champagne parties may be occurring for the wrong reasons...>>

I don't have any information about a champagne party at Ancor HQ, other than what was posted from Yahoo. However, after what this company (and it's investors) have been through, I seriously doubt that they would be celebrating something that wasn't pretty significant.

Although your experiences at your former company were horrific, I have trouble drawing a parallel. I think Ancor's products are top-notch. It is difficult to look at a MKII switch and not be impressed with the technology. The biggest problem with the MKII is that there isn't a big enough market for Fibre Channel switching yet, and OEM timetables have slipped substantially. I think that is changing, though. Recent rumblings from EMC, Quantum, Emulex, Interphase, Qlogic, and others tend to support this. Even G2's $10 Million financing deal tends to support the view that Fibre Channel is gaining momentum.
